Trauma Recovery

If you have survived trauma or abuse, you are not alone and you can heal. It takes courage to ask for help and to name our hurts. We want to honor that courage by helping to create a space where you feel safe, heard, and valued. In the context of a supportive, non-judgmental relationship, we will work together to name and grieve what you have lost and to help you heal.

Anxiety & Depression

Do anxiety or depression keep you from doing the things you want? Wherever you are, you do not have to be stuck. We are skilled at helping you navigate the complexities of anxiety and depression, providing practical coping skills while also exploring how your current experiences and beliefs fit into the context of your story and helping you find a way out.

Grief & Loss

To be human is to have experienced loss. But our culture is quick to move on and force us into fake smiles. We recognize that grief is a confusing process and takes time. We have a heart for walking alongside the brokenhearted and supporting them in the confusing ups and downs of grief, joining them as they lament and learn to live as one who knows what it is to have lost.

What we Do:

We integrate therapeutic approaches to find what is best for you. Together we can build skills to help you calm your body and your brain, understand your specific triggers, grow emotional awareness and regulation, and begin to process your story.

EMDR (eye-movement desensitization and reprocessing) is one of the tools that can be particularly helpful in this healing process. EMDR is designed to help reduce traumatic triggers and reprocess your past. If you are interested in a deeper explanation of EMDR, I'd invite you to read this blog post or click the below video.
